Woe is me for forgetting about my LJ...again.
I wonder if everyone goes through phases where they just stop updating a certain site and randomly remember one day while staring blankly at a wall that it exists. >__>
Hi! I'm alive! I guess a lot has happened since my last journal entry...so I'll blog. :D
I finally got up the huevos to leave my job at the bank and move to Las Vegas. Brave, right? But then I got rid of the huevos in order to work at a super chic eco-couture store...so lucky me, I was able to land a job straight away. I'm really grateful. :)
I'm rooming with two friends and that's been great. We're going to Fanime at the end of May so we're getting all of our cosplay stuff up to par. I'm not a huge cosplayer but it's really fun to do things as a group and have that...team sense of accomplishment. I haven't had that in a while since I graduated almost a year ago from college. Wooo, I can't believe it's been that long.
It's been difficult for me keeping up with friends back home. Not in terms of...losing touch with people. I just have so MANY people to call that I can't honestly make a schedule for it...and I end up making promises I can't keep. 'I'll call you then'...'I'll text you in an hour'---and then I get busy and...yeah. I need to do better. ;__;
I've been writing a LOT though you'd never know here. >__> I'm almost done with Slumberland and then after that I plan on starting my novel for real. I'll finish up my other fics along the way but my focus will be my 'real' book.
I think I've been subconsciously putting off writing it for some odd reason. Well, not an odd reason. I think I'm intimidated...but life has worse things to be scared of so...failure is not allowed to be something that I think about. That's a promise to myself and anyone who actually reads this, haha.

I'll make more of an effort to post funny life happenings here just so all of you that follow know I'm alive.
