Kampar + Ipoh BIG car breakdown.

Jun 17, 2008 19:31

This is way overdue, but heck it's MY blog.

Went to Kampar to visit Eunice's hometown in May... oh wait, was it April? Yes it was April. Procrastinating really puts things in perspective huh? Time flies. And also made a short stop in Ipoh to laze around and check out the great food.

Once we touched down (I'm trying to give off the impression that we flew there), we were so hungry we rushed to have the infamous Kampar Min Pao Kai (bread-wrapped-curry chicken) which was graciously paid for by Eunice's sweet parents whom I never got to meet. Sniff.

As usual, people pigged out.

I apologise for the super blur pic, I had some bread in my hand as well.

We spent the days driving around in Eunice's super super old Datsun. (at least I hope it's a Datsun, otherwise I'd be a liar) which was a really really cool blue little car that only Lilean could handle.

It brought us everywhere, from Eunice's house, where we spent an hour trying to start the car, to the waterfall...

and we loved the car, in all its antique-ness.

Unfortunately it broke down. And I had the difficult job of pushing it uphill.

and since we couldn't do anything much, we camwhored.

Anyway, the car later miraculously started so we could get down the hill again... It was quite the exhilarating experience.

Look at its amazing cuteness, ahhh! luvvvv.....

anyway, later we left for Ipoh and the car in Ipoh died as well. Talk about bad luck.

And people were still very free to camwhore. I am speechless. As you can see I'm not involved in such insane activities. I merely became their photographer.

And then we went to Kellie's Castle which was cool, because we got to see a naked fat lady jumping down the building. Look, they're so enthralled by it when I took this photo. I missed part of the commotion when I was taking this picture. That's why I say photographers never get the good stuff.

Eunice was standing on the crickety bridge where it seemed as if it will crumble any moment.

Yes, I know I look like a bumbling moron. Stop laughing already.

And then our car broke down AGAIN. WHAT A STREAK OF BAD LUCK.

I was wondering why we had such bad luck with cars with such a short road trip.... until Eunice showed me this.... and it all became clear.

WE WERE CURSED SINCE like 15 years ago! Cursed from the moment her dad decided to pick up his camera to record that drastic incident when the car broke down! ! !!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! Cursed from the moment Eunice SMILED at the camera like the camwhore she SO is!

Nah i was lying about all the car breakdowns. None of it actually happened. Just photos. HA.

btw. Am lazy to upload more photos. There are of course plenty of other stuff we did, but I'll check facebook for that haha.
