I’ve figured it out.
How one tree is leave less and the companion beside it is yellow and full. One, so gloomy and bare stands by itself waiting for it to be disbanded of it’s last leaf; Waiting to be cut down shredded into material things forgetting that once it stood still glooming and swaying wind by wind.
One standing tall with green within and fullness, waiting for his friend to be taken from him and hoping that soon enough he’ll be able to sway alone without feeling that remorse and dryness. But soon enough, its life would be taken for granted. Taken.
It’s you that has drifted away to someplace distant, possibly the moon, and I wonder if I’ll see you ever again.
“You lied, “and your lies alone I believed. I was yours but you left me to sway alone leafless and naked. “You lied.”
If I knew how the stars glow, I would bring them down and help us glow this moment of silence, of nothing but you and me under the cold sky staring at each other, holding emotions captive and with eyes swollen.
“All I ever wanted to be was free, free from the world and belonging only to you and I guess, that wasn’t enough.”
Why do you look at me with disgust, with nothing but damnation?
“I got bored…”
With a single phrase, I was left alone again in my galaxy. My eyes searched for hurt, for pain in his body, in his eyes. I drifted away stepping backwards from him, and with a glance I knew we were meters and yet light years away.
“I got bored…and I didn’t know what to do. All I knew is this.”
One step forward.
“Don’t come any closer.”
“We can’t talk like this. You’re too far away.”
And with a light grin, I smile, “Don’t come any closer.”
One step back wards and body felt lighter, my head ready to explode.
“Why are you acting like this? You were the one that was cheated. Cheated by me and yet…you act like nothing happen. Why are you being like this?”
I am crazy. One step closer to you, my body cringed and my eyes tear up. Two steps closer, my finger tips froze, my make up ruined. Three steps forward and I was inches from you frozen, “Do you know my name?”
"Yes."
"I ...." inhale, "can't recall yours."
I closed my eyes and you were gone swayed away with my star dust.
