Brian the Vampire

Apr 06, 2004 11:20

Thanks so much to whoever gave me more paid LJ time! I hope you are not disappointed that I have made Brian into a vampire. If it's any consolation, I really don't plan to do it again, and I do plan to write more Joke this weekend.

I can't believe that seperis managed to get me to write a vampire cutting porn snippet, but ( uh...she did. )

i have to admit that all of this biting is kind of hot.

I agree. I actually find the cutting hot too, which probably says disturbing things about me. I keep trying to tell myself that it's not about the cutting so much as about picturing Brian wandering after some guy at Babylon and then suddenly raising his head to sniff the air, but I think it's the cutting.

The werewolf thing reminds me of some TS fic where Jim turned into a panther and I think I am still scarred from having read that.

pretty much whatever brian and justin do to each other (as long as it's in human or human-looking form) is hot.

Yeah. It's almost Pavlovian or something--we're trained to respond to them.

I can't stop thinking of the exact moment when Brian sinks his teeth into Justin's neck.

I think this is a bad sign. Homework, Joss, homework!

Nightrunner. I'm tellin' ya, any fandom where the characters canonically shapeshift into animals... headed for pain.

Which, of course, makes me wonder if there's Manimal bestiality!fic out there. Probably. *scratches chin*

NIGHTRUNNER! OHMIGOD, I was *so* *so* sad when all the Seregil/Alec fic disappeared. :( The only one I remember vividly is the one that twisted the pregnancy curse thing and changed Seregil into a woman. Haha.

*beams* I know who wrote that.

But there was bestiality!fic, too, shortly before The Great Disappearance. Only Alec changed, though, because stag + otter? Uhm, ow.

Actually, now that you mention it, I remember that fic, too. It was a little beyond my squick barrier back then, I remember being freaked out.

Yeeeeah, and it just wasn't very good. I had no clue why Seregil would want to get fucked in the ass by a stag (other than, "Oh, I love you in all your forms, honey!" which is so gagworthy it begs the question), so I just didn't care.

If bestiality is the point... if it's the only point, eh, go post it on Nifty.

(Of course, then there was Ronin Warriors fandom, in which someone stole bestiality fic from Nifty and plugged in the character and tiger names. Er, yeah.)

I remember Seregil fucking the stag? Maybe not. Like I said, was squicked, and thus didn't read in much detail, but I have this image of him petting stag calmingly while fucking.

Hmmm... perhaps my memory of it is influenced by other Seregil-the-size-queen characterizations.

Man, Nightrunner... good times. Some of my favoritest people ever wrote in that fandom, and it was teeny and mostly pretty good and then someone had to be an asshat and the author got spooked and then she acted like an asshat and it was over :(

I was just a lurker back then, but I loved Nightrunner, too. Reading the pregnancy fic was what prompted me to first read everything else in the fandom and then go out and buy the books, and then after I had finally gotten the books and read them, I came back online to reread all the fic and it just wasn't there! It even took me a few days to figure out why it wasn't there anymore, and after that I considered emailing some authors to ask if they'd sort of privately share with me some things I knew they'd written, but I was too shy.

Anyway, I totally don't understand why the author felt so insulted by the fic writing. Stupid author. If I am ever a novelist, I will encourage as much fandom-ness as possible in my universe. I will go online and write fanfic about my own characters, and I will strong-arm friends into doing the same. Hell, I have a half-finished novel (which later experience has shown to be awful, but first novels are like that) and I had already made my friend K. start writing fanfic for it before it was even
