Can I just say (from one Vancouver Jocelyn to another ;) ) that this video, despite being a format I'm not particularly familiar with, was actually quite riveting.

Nicely done. I especially liked the use of the scene from that episode (you know the one I'm talking about :P) where Sara is throwing out the take-out menus and what not as a means of imagery for self-destruction, rather than contextually as her trying not to self-destruct in her anti-socialness.

If you can't make sense of that, let me reiterate the most important part... nicely done.

Glad you enjoyed the video. And you exactly *got* the idea I was going for with that scene re. self-destruction, so I'm glad it made sense to someone! I saw your Cath/Sara vid via your LJ and know I've read some of your fanfic in the past. Great stuff, by the way.

Still finding it so cool that there's another CSI nut named Jocelyn in Vancouver. Going to friend you - hope that's okay?

Yeah, it is a bit odd, huh? Especially a CSI Nut, named Jocelyn, who loves Jorja Fox, and lives in Vancouver.

Not a GSR fan, though, but I am a fan of Grissom... <3

It's a very cool coincidence :) And yes, Jorja is just too fabulous for words.

I love GSR, but I love Cath/Sara almost as much. They'd have CSI playing at 11pm on HBO if we all had our way with it :)

Yeah, no kidding! I didn't bother joining any L-Word groups on LJ because the States has season 4 and we're only getting season 3. Well, actually, I've missed most of it so far anyway so I'm just doing the DVD thing, which is a lot less frustrating :)

Thank god for fanfic because it's the closest we're going to get to Showcase or HBO!

No doubt, eh? But on that note... you know you could download Season 4 episodes. I do it every week. Usually by midnight on Sunday night/Monday morning it's ready to download as a torrent on any or all major torrent sites. Demonoid.com, bitenova.nl, or mininova.org (probably your best bet for the most amount of seeders/leechers).

As for television, if you've got Shaw Digital you can watch Sundays at 9 on Movie Central. I did that last season when I lived in Edmonton. But I don't have a kajillion dollars to spend on cable I only watch for two shows, so I socked it.

But yes... THANK GOD FOR FANFICTION!
