2005 The year that was

Jan 02, 2006 18:13

What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? Kissed someone, made out with someone.
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn't make any last year, I won't make any this year.
Did anyone close to you give birth? Nope.
Did anyone close to you die? Thank God no, but it still feels like it was yesterday I got the e-mail form Diego about Nancy D.
Did you suffer illness or injury? Just a random cold once in a while.
What countries did you visit? Only Finland when dad and I went over to buy ice cream.
What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? Sex
What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? The first half of this year was so uneventful and the second half was filled with crazy fun but I don't have a certain date from this year that I will remember.
What was your biggest achievement of the year? Getting MVG in all the high school courses that I re-took which lead to me moving to Kalmar which was just such a big and positive step for me.
What was your biggest failure? Even though I'm really happy I can't help thinking about Växjö, like that if I had actually gotten in, what would my life be like? It was my goal and I didn't reach it.
What's your biggest regret? Working at the bank this summer cause my mum would have really needed it.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? M and N not hooking up.
Whose behavior merited celebration? E back in September when it was five phone calls a day for like three weeks. I got a little carried away.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Cez, in many ways. She is self centered and she controls our friendship. I'm always there for her but it's not the other way around.
Who did you miss? When I was in Kalmar I missed Cez. I don't miss her now.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't hate her, but well, she didn't even say goodbye when she went back home yesterday.
Where did most of your money go? Things for my apartment.
What did you get really, really, really excited about? Getting my own car.
What was the best thing you bought? I haven't tried it out yet but hopefully it'll be my DVD player.
What did you want and get? A car.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turn 21 and on my b-day I went on a shopping spree on IKEA. I have to say, it wasn't the best of birthdays.
Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner
iii. richer or poorer? poorer
two out of three have changed compared to last year, now I just need to get me some money.
What do you wish you'd done more of? Running
What do you wish you'd done less of? Over analyzing every single event that took place in my life.
Did you fall in love in 2005? Nope
How many one-night stands? Zero
What was your favorite TV program? Laguna Beach!
What was the best book you read? Gossip Girl
What was your greatest musical discovery? Alice in Videoland, it's kind of my way in to listening to the music that my friends listen to.
What was the best advertisement? Lancome perfume, second year now but I just love it.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Jared Leto
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? Improving even more.
What kept you sane? E, if I couldn't call her every time my friends are making me crazy, I would really go crazy.
Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005: Even if it's not your dream, it can turn out to be even better then you ever dared to dream about.
What song will always remind you of 2005? Divit - Wish I Could Be
Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
If only I could leave today
Just pack my bags, and catch the next train.
Nothing here is getting better, nothing's ever gonna change.
So take another picture... leave it hanging in the frame.
I'm tired of this town, I'm tired of my friends,
I'm tired of runnin, runnin, runnin circles again
I'm tired of my life, nothings making any sense.
I just want to go away.
/.../
And ohh, they're playing my favorite song.
