It's taken me a year
And I believe it's because Third Watch isn't being shown here anymore. My Veronica Mars love? My love of Lamb? Third Watch. Maurice Boscorelli. I've spent half the night reading Third Watch quotes - trying to figure out which episode had a scene I want to use for a VM fic. We all know the speech - we just can't seem to remember where the hell it came from. I haven't found it yet - but I have found proof that Third Watch had the best lines of any show ever.
And yes, SEVERAL sound as though they came out of Veronica Mars (the show, and the girl). But I just found one that damn near made my heart STOP. If Veronica and Lamb had ever had it out over a certain incident - yeah, that line would have been said. Bright side for me is now I can use it - once I'm done with 2 other fics (or at least one) that I'm working on.
I'm kind of floored. My Third Watch love didn't exactly know any bounds back in the day either - though I rarely shipped with them. Go figure. So yeah, I have Third Watch to thank for my Veronica Mars love. My DoVe love though - that's all 2x07's fault lol - Third Watch had no part in that lol.
