Time to get back to normal.
Okay! I'm refusing to dwell anymore on what's gone on in the last few days - it's time to get back to my fun, fangirling and Shadam-obsessed posts!!
I do want to say THANK YOU to those of you who voted on my poll though. The situation managed to get so out of hand that new rules have been enforced at the community. Since then I haven't heard another word thankfully. I've decided I'm going to stay on there - for now - but I can't be sure when or possibly even if I'll post there again. I may just take some of the prompt ideas that I like and simply use them elsewhere. Like places where my work and I aren't constantly slammed. Though admittedly veronicamarsfic is a bit of a snake pit for me too but I refuse to stay in my "little corners" of LJ. I don't ask, or tell, them to do that so there's no reason for me to.
NOW back to the fun. A few days ago I FINALLY watched The Wrestler. It wasn't what I thought it would be, but I'm not complaining. Still say Mickey was robbed at the Oscars though. After everything he's come out pretty damn well, I think and the movie just proves it. And I'm glad they got him for it because after seeing it, I don't think anyone could have done it better.
Y&R: Overall, I'm loving this week. One Shadam scene this week kind of left me fangirling like mad, but I love it. Also Adam's been GOOD for Sharon! She's finally standing up for herself more and not letting anyone get her down. More on the show later, I think. I've got more I want to say and this is kind of the (few) highlights I've had so far this week.
Real Life: Yesterday was a birthday for one of my favorite people. Today I threatened to hit him if he insists on calling himself old (he's 6 months younger than my ex-fiancee!). I was told I'd be "rewarded" with a spanking if I did lol. Anyway, I wished him a happy one everywhere but here - not that he's on Twitter or Facebook or LJ, but still. Good news? He did NOT repeat what he did 2 years ago!! I'm so proud of my Kevy :D
