Target. Today I love you.
Went shopping with Mom today. Picked up some new candles from Yankee. I don't buy Christmas trees anymore (can't stand cleaning up after them and we don't have room for a fake one during the rest of the year) so I fixed my want for one by getting a Balsam and Cedar candle (smells more like the Christmas trees Mom and I used to get as opposed to the Christmas Tree candle) to go along with the Misteloe, Christmas Cookie, Christmas Eve and Jack Frost (yes, I go a little ambiance crazy at Christmas and Mom's a slight Yankee Candle addict). ANYWAY! After that we headed over to Target just for some everyday things. I wanted to head over to the DVD section to see if they had the Veronica Mars sets like Wal-Mart didn't. Still trying to save Mom's ex a couple bucks 'cause in theory that means more $$$ for bills and such.
They had S1... And that was it. All three seasons of Heroes and all of Weeds, but only S1 of VM - I wasn't impressed. But at one point, going down the aisle I saw something that made Mom think I was having a siezure because of my gasp response. Joe Schmo 2 for $4!! Not $14. Not $40. $4!!! Yeah. I now have Joe Schmo 2 on DVD! Mom and I have kind of been wanting it for a while.... So yeah :D Yay! lol
Wow. Just got a comment on a very old fic. 4 years old to be exact... Weird. And tonight is kinda huge at my place. The ending of Monk. Mom and her ex grew up with Columbo, The Equilizer, etc. so really it's no wonder I'm such a VM nerd. Anyway, I'll be the only one here for it... Mom'll be at work and she's said she'll record it for the ex who I think will also be at work. Strangeness, but yeah... Hence the long-winded-ness of this. Crazy day, crazy night. Oh and they're calling for snow tomorrow
