Which ones is my DVR making time for? In no particular order...
Hawaii Five-O: I originally wasn't going to watch it. Now I don't feel like I have a choice... And I'm kind of excited about it. At least I know I can blame my grandmother since she apparently loved the original.
No Ordinary Family: Michael Chiklis as a superhero once again? The Incredibles in live action more or less? I really can't wait. I love that guy.
Detroit 182: It's even airing on Tuesdays at 10PM on ABC. THAT WAS NYPD BLUE'S TIME SLOT! The detective show gods are demanding I watch!
Boardwalk Empire: It'll legit make me cry because I'd kill to go back to the 1930's as a female gangster, but in the meantime I'll take what I can get.
On the flip side -
Blue Bloods: Um, as much as I'm impressed and surprised by Donnie every day I just can't do it. It looks good and I've loved him since I was literally 5, but ironically I prefer my cop shows with more of a family bond in the squad room then in the cops' homes. I know, I'm weird. But that's why I love Third Watch, The Job, Homicide: Life on the Street, NCIS, Crossing Jordan, NYPD Blue and others I know I'm forgetting so much.
Shit My Dad Says: When you can't even say the name of the show on TV, you know it's going to be, well, shit.
The Event: Okay - I'm a little iffy on this one. On the one hand there's Rider Strong. And my love of FlashForward from last year. On the other, it's NBC...
The Cape: As much as True Blood has made me love James Frain... Again, it's NBC - I don't trust them.
Nikita: It's too soon. To be honest, I never watched the other but it's still too soon. I know everyone wants a new Alias but maybe they shouldn't have canceled the last one. Just a thought.
As for anything else, I guess I'll find out. In the meantime the sooner Hawaii Five-O premieres the sooner we get to ep. 1x04. Come on, CBS, I've been good!!
