Originally uploaded by josiefiendOur wild Snuggie costumes were a big hit this year. And so comfy! Next year Jennifae said we should put together a Snuggie zoo and hit Nightmare on Normal Street. lol
The wig I ordered for my original costume idea still hasn't arrived but at least I'll have a head start next year when it finally does. Halloween night was fun at Jennifae and Haakon's but we only had 2 trick-or-treaters before we left at 8pm. Very disappointing. Especially now that we're stuck with a bowl full of candy.
And we got stuck in the sobriety check from Hell on our way to the party. Montezuma was completely blocked off and there was no detour. We ended up lost in a maze of dead-end cul-de-sacs before retracing our path back to the freeway to try another route to the party. Weak.
Next year I decorate the yard with dry ice, gravestones, etc. to see if that kicks up the costume count. And maybe we'll host a party so we don't have to deal with the lame traffic.
Must remember to bring the leftover candy with me tomorrow to pawn off on coworkers.
