they should, they're the same species. the Rommies weren't in the original series too much, though the ep with the first cloaked ship was pretty cool. the original Romulans were bad Roman ripoffs ;)

i can't remember if they had pointy ears back then. the Klingons didn't have the bumpy foreheads then either.
