Missing movies
I recently went in search of Le Pacte des loups (Brotherhood of the Wolf) when I found out that Chris had never seen it. I was sad to discover that not only is that movie missing but many other favorites are missing as well. There must be a box in my house with all the movies I really love in it because Bladerunner, Blue Velvet, Fifth Element, all my tentaclesex and a few others have all gone missing. So sad.
The other movie I wanted to share, but knew I didn't have is Plunkett & Macleane. While searching for it I discovered that you can only purchase region 2 or 4 dvds (valid in UK / Australia). Dammit. The used ones I found on Amazon start at $45-50! I liked it and all but c'mon! It's not worth that. I can't even find any of the correct regions for sale on eBay.
Netflix doesn't even have it either ...
Oh, but wait. Typing that gave me the idea to call Blockbuster and they do! *love*
One down, several more to go. Hopefully there's another box of DVDs hidden away in one of my closets. Le Pacte des loups is next on my list.
