Lights are on but no one's home

My car headlights are stuck on as of yesterday. I'm not sure if this is a result of my car accident or not but I can't turn off my headlights.

Rather than letting my battery go dead, I've started popping the hood every time I stop so I can disconnect the battery. A friend of mine said there's no way they could live with this but to me, it's just a minor annoyance. Growing up in Lakeside, we always had cars with little quirks. It's not that bad. At least it's still reliable!

I expect I'll continue to disconnect the battery until my insurance claim goes through from the hit and run last Friday. The police report hasn't been completed yet so I wait.

I stayed home from work yesterday because it felt like a cold was coming on. Could have just been allergies because I felt great by about 2pm. zoecat and I saw Pirates last night with miss_zephirus. We absolutely loved it! Can't wait for the next one!

At least the sick time allowed me to finish the second book I was working on for Simon. This one went SO much easier than the last one. Only a couple weeks of work instead of a several months of sleepless nights. I think I only stayed up late 2 nights for this one! Whew.

Looking forward to a pretty chill weekend. Dinner with Miss Daisy on Saturday and bitchy bingo with Babbette Schwartz on Sunday.

Happy birthday Miss Daisy. I hope you have a great day!
