So after school on Tuesday, which was coincidentally Valentine's Day therefore the title of this post, I went for my ballet lesson. Mrs Kneer announced the roll call for this year's ballet recital, and sadly, I didn't get the lead.
Everyone in the class knows that Charlene doesn't dance as well as I do, so I'm quite sure it wasn't due to a judge of ability. The casting was probably because Mrs Kneer wanted to boost the morale of the class since I keep getting the lead. I'm annoyed, and honestly the rest should be worried that their production is going to be a flop, but strangely everyone seemed quite satisfied. Well clearly, I'm not.
But I guess it's only fair to everyone that I share the spotlight at times. I've been learning to be fair and give others oportunities and not be too egoistic and be less selfish. Jen has been making sure I don't go overboard in the things I do. She's a nice... friend.
So I guess I'll just suck everything up, accept the supporting role and make sure I get my moves perfected by the time the dance recital comes.
