Yo yo yo~!

All right boys and girls.  Settle down and sit for a classic tale of horror and drama as only I can present to you.

IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT.  Well, actually; it was three in the afternoon, and it was kind of overcast but not really dark, and barely raining... but that is irrelevant!!

So I'm going to IKEA.  So I can pick out a bed and stuff, you know, be an adult and stop sleeping on the floor.  (^.^);

And of course, I somehow let the battery die in my GPS so it needs charging, but that is okay I tell myself!  I have been to IKEA tons of times before - admittedly not by myself and not driving - but I know where it is!  I can do this!

It started off so well, it's straight down the 400.  I just have to get off at the right exit!  Which... I somehow missed.  Because the exit is off another part of the highway that runs parallel for a bit... and I forgot to get onto that part.  (> . >)  Whoops.

So now I'm on the 407.  AHHH.  Which I don't want to be on.  So I get off at the first exit, get back on the 407 to go back in the direction I came from, and get back onto the 400, and am... now back past the place I needed to get off at.  Wtf?  So I get off the 400 at the first exit (found the entrance to Vaughn Mills Shopping Centre which I'd always wondered how to get in there) get BACK on the 400 in the original direction I'd been going in... (~.~)

Get OFF onto 7 where I should have in the first place, turn onto the road I needed to and THERE IT WAS!  THE MECCA OF HOME DECOR!

I was trapped in an endless loop of on/off ramps it seemed, giving my steering wheel Shaken Baby Syndrome™  while yelling that I just wanted to go to IKEA dammit!!  (And probably scaring the people driving around me a little...)  (> . >)

And giggling madly, because really, I like how just going to IKEA is an adventure.

I did find a bed/wardrobe/dresser set that I liked, but clearly it won't fit in Se7en so I'll go back once I've made room down here for it with the parents Pimpmobile™ or get it delivered.  I dunno.  We'll see.  (^.^)

epic fails, roadtrips, shopping
