so, i had my first class session of international ballroom dance. im gonna love that class. nice and small. 7 girls and 5 guys. and, they are all really cool from what i can tell. i learned some basics of meringue (sp?) its pronounced mehr-eng-gay. way cool. except my hips dont naturally move the way they are sopposed to. Its all cool though. I love the class, and dancing is just a handy skill to have.
well, largest non-conference track meet ive ever been to tommorow, and i cant say taht im not thoroughly nervous. however, all the guys in my heat of the 400 are really close to my times, and the fastest guy is within my grasp, and if i beat him, or run what his time is posted as, I'll be fine if i am paralyzed in some horrible accident, because i accomplished one of my main goals: break 51 in the 400m. my next goal is break 50 in the 400m.
anyway, i am following the ancient philosopher of the 14th century, Procrastinatus, who is known best for saying "Thou ought do not what thou can accomplish later". Some believe that he is the one responsible for the old adage " trying is the first step to failure", but all serious historians believe that came from the mouth of his contemporary Cynicus.
oh, how i do not want to write this paper right now. this is evident by the fact that i am updated my lj @ 12:45am
by the way, this song im listening to...it makes me want to go slay some fel beast in battle.
