It's been better than ages. But I don't really think anoyone reads these anyway. But here's a bit of what's going down town in my lifeski.
I wrecked my car pretty bad and have a court date monday that won't e a big deal but I'll have to pay my ticket. I won't divulge details cuz if I have to reconstruct the accident again i'm gonna scream. But it wasn't terrible, I'll leave it at that.
My parents are being pseudo crazy in there pursuit of the expressway to divorce. Dad's shellin out restraining orders and shacking up with some bitch, and mom is a wreck. I dunno what to do about the situation to ease the tension so I'm at a loss. It's whatever.
My mom and I have kind of reconnected so that's good. I've been visiting regularly. It's all gravy. We'll see how long it lasts.
Gettin a bit upset with the living conditions. Room mate is prickish. He won't clean up after himself, has provided food twice to my four times then spends all sorts of cash on fast food for himself and video games and bull shit of that nature. It really bothers me to the pint where I want to move out. I'll go back to staying in squire... it doesn't bother me that much. But it's whatever you know.
Lindsay has been havin boy problems (story of her life lol). I don't think she's dated a "normal" or "stable" guy since I've known her and that's been along time. But yeah she's to the point where she's gettin into 4 hour long fights with her boyfriend... that's about time in my mind to re-evaluate your position. The only bad thing is that she lives there with him and has no where else to go... I think all this falls under the word "cluster fuck" in the dictionary. But I try to do what I can. I guess if your significant other isn't being there for you your friends have to be and I think I'm one of the few constant ones she has left. I support her in anything she does.
Amy has been having all these wonderful health ailments. Hopefully she won't need the surgery for her acid reflux. I'm just glad she did well this quarter. I'm proud of her. She's a wonderful person. I'm lucky I even know her.
I quit school for financial reasons. I'll be back though bitches so don't think it's over. Not by a long shot...
I've been stealing seson 3 of one tree hill off bearshare on Anthony's laptop cuz my computer is still shelved under "fucked". But it's already on the holiday recess so i might be able to catch up to it. on #4 out of 7 think... maybe more. I'm just so fascinated with the show. The plot lines interest me and I find the problems they face mirror my own to certain degrees. It's just awesome to be able to watch an episode and connect to so much and come out of it with a new, fresh, renewed, or refreshed perspective on things. It's truly amazing. The one thing that keeps getting at me is the randomness of Jake Jagelski (Bryan Greenburg). He is one the main reasons I've enjoyed the show so much and he's beyond a talented actor. If you doubt me ust watch his monolouge in The Perfect Score which i believe is also written and directed by the writer of One Tree Hill. Just good quality stuff.
I've also smashed through a lot of books. Since Hearts in Atlantis, I've downed The Regulators, The Gunslinger (Dark Tower book 1), Bag of Bones and most of The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. All Stephen King novels. It's so great to read.
I had an awesome birthday thanks to Amy. She made me the most amazing chicken and broccoli fettucini alfredo. It was the bomb and we went and saw The Weather Man. I liked the movie. I found comfort in it's dark humor and honesty as well as the brutal reality of life's often harsh ways. It was touching in it's own witty way. But It was amazing with the candle dinner and the wonderful picture frames with pictures of my daughter and the books. It was the greatest. :-D
I also got to see a private advance screening of Just Friends Wednesday. All I can say is when the movie opens, go see it. It's worth it. Ryan Reynolds is right on the mark, and it's funny as hell. With the usual crummy romance drama built in around it. It's honestly a great flick. I hihly recomend it as probably the funniest movie out right now and maybe even all season.
Outside of that I guess everything is about the same. Same job, same lifestyle. Thanks for stoppin by, hopefully it won't be a month before I get to update again.
