I love the new Rilo Kiley album, though it's much more "pop" than "power pop." The majority of the tracks are good, but my favorite is Silver Lining. Just a great, simple pop song. Check it out:

Wow, it's been seventeen years since Stevie Ray Vaughan died. I remember that day so vividly, I can't believe it's already been that long ago.

His first record came out when I was ten and I've been a massive fan ever since. Texas Flood is still my favorite album ever, in any genre.

Gonna go listen to it, I think.
