Introduction:
Been a REEAAAALLL long time since I posted, even if it was just going to be a summary of our Tuesday Night D&D Session. I would do that know, but I left all the notes and stuff at school, and I am still home on Thanksgiving break. Over the past few weeks, nothing big has really happened, But I got Guitar Hero for the Wii, which is pretty sweet, and a nice step up in difficulty. I'll definitely be playing it for awhile. On the down side, I haven't been to the gym in... three weeks, I think? It all started when I skipped to study for my exam, and took the next Wednesday off to allow myself to recover. Bad idea. Haven't gonne since.

FYI:
As a side note, my "N" key is broken, where broken means very sensitive. Therefore, sometimes, my keyboard registers another N, when I, in fact, didn't press it twice. If you notice that anywhere in my journal, that's the problem. I'm trying to fix them as I go, but I might miss a few.

Returning Home and Thanksgiving:
Let's see... came home Wednesday, and with my memory, don't really remember much. I think I just sat around. Thursday, however, I went to my Nana's house, and ate our Thanksgiving Day lunch. After, I went back home and relaxed for a bit, and then AJ, Lauren and I went to Wrentham for some KB Toys shopping, where all games were buy one get one free, an amazing deal, as all the gamers out there know. However, I wasn't inclined to buy Happy Feet or Beyblade, so I chose to abstain from purchasing anything. We did go to Hot Topic, where all three of us bought overpriced Zelda merchandise. Huzzah!

Friday and Guitar Hero:
Friday, I went shopping with my mom, and picked up a few things. I worked that night, and thoroughly enjoyed the company i kept, yet hated every minute I was inside Shaw's... Oh, uniform change: from now on, everyone has to wear long-sleeved, white button-ups. Except the fat lady: there wasn't one big enough. They're nont as comfortable as our polos, but I guess they look better? Well, they will until people don't wash them, or spill things on them, or sweat in them. White shows a lot more than green. And if they charge us for new shirts (like they did before), I certainly won't be paying money to make the company look good.

After work, I went to Brad's house, where a few people hung out and played Guitar Hero. Unfortunately, one of Dill's controllers lagged TERRIBLY, and only one of the two players was playing. The other was just the streak messer-upper. And that's nont fun: when you're playing Dragonforce, and you just need the support guy to keep your streak up, and he's not there for you. DAMN IT! I ended the night by playing RuneScape. Sue me, it's free.

Saturday's Arming:
Went out with my parents today for even more shopping. For the first time this year, our gifts for Chanukah won't be a surprise. I like that because now, I don't have to act like I LOVE the gifts my parents bought. Don't get me wrong: I usually do like the gifts they get me, and I do truly appreciate the things they buy me (moreso than my brother, definitely). But when you get one or two gifts a night, from the people that MADE you, you better fucking like the present. I hate opening presents up in front of people. Acting like that gift was JUST what you wanted is really stressful for me. I know I'll like what someone gets me for my birthday or Christmas or whatever, but I mean, I'm not going to flip over it. Probably. A real Pokeball would be awesome, as would be the Master Sword, or... a Firebolt. Sweet....

Anyway, today, we went to Dick's at the Blackstone Shoppes, and my brother went to look at the BB guns, and I checked out the bows. A bit of anger and persuasion later, my brother got a BB gunn (look out, everyone...), and I got a bow! That second part is the cool part. We opened them up when we got home, and tried them out. Right now, I'm... not... REALLY bad... but with some practice I know I can improve. Also, trying it when it's not dark and freezing would probably help.

It's a compound bow, with a 28" pull and 25lbs of resistance. That probably doesn't mean much of anything to you guys, and means barely more to me, but it's a good size and weight to make it comfotable for me. From where I stand, thinking about trying all those cool movie shots seems, quite literally, impossible. I'll need lots of practice. The winter probably wasn't a good time to buy an outside "toy," but I've never nbought an outside toy before, so I didn't know any better. Naturally, I can't bring it back to school. Mike would hunt me with it. So, it'll sit here for awhile, till I come back. Then I'll REALLY try it out...

Well, this is already too long of a post. Sorry. I'll try to keep more regular.
