Earthquakes and the water closet.
Why do earthquakes always hit when I'm on the toilet?
I'm serious. We just had one, and I can only recall one more in my entire existence here, and both times I was on the toilet. Maybe there's a correlation, but as bad as my guts are, I'm not prepared to say I cause earthquakes.
I didn't get rocked off the seat, at least. And the toilet didn't get rocked off its moorings, which can only be considered good fortune.
I'll check the news later for the rating.
EDIT (3:22PM): 5.0. Yikes. The epicentre was just north of the Ontario-Quebec border, so we certainly didn't get the full brunt of it here.
