Much too little to do with far too much time...wait...
HELLO!!!
How are you world, well let me say I am doing splendidly. I have had two of the best weekends of my trip AND of course finished Harry Potter.
Now there is far too much to rescount here, so you will just have to content yourselves with these small snippets and trust me to tell the entire stories later. Firstly, Paris for French Independance Day was wonderous. I pretty much fell in love with Paris (it really is the most beautiful city I've ever been in) The fireworks over the Tower, drinking 5 bottles of wine in the gardens, seeing the sights, walking along the Seine--really just glorious.
Then after a semi interesting, but also semi stultifying week of classes we set off for the French Riviera. Let's discuss beautiful beaches (I see why all the celebrities party here.) Also, a lot of really REALLY hot men in very small bathing suits, and even more interesting the largest number of breasts I have seen in my entire life. Seriously, who knew (other than women and straight men) that they came in such a myriad of shapes, sizes, perkyness, nipple variety, positioning...wow--blew my world...
Lastly for now, HARRY POTTER. So yes, I couldnt wait to read it and so I borrowed my friend's Brittish copy. I read a good deal of it in a compartment train, which was just thrilling in and of itself, in my brief words here I will say only that I agree, as Kristy can attest to, wholeheartedly the theories about Snape and RAB. I have a few others of my own, but they will be better elaborated on at a later date (aka when I get home.) Suffice it to say that I enjoyed the book, and while still not my favorite, it holds a high esteem...perhaps on second or third readings I will grow to love it even more. I can't commend JK Rowling enough for her wonderful characters and the seemingly tangible literary other reality she has created, so with that JK take a big pat on the back from me.
OH, and one other, VERY important detail. My flight arrives in Pittsburgh at 10:30 August 3rd. I, as though of you who I've talked to know, need someone to pick me up. I don't care who it is ( (8) preferred of course) just make sure there is room in the car for all my shit, caues there is a lot. I will gladly pay you for the short term parking fees and such. So if you are willing to do this leave me a comment so I can be sure I have a ride. Thanks a million guys. (also if my chauffeur happened to enjoy entertaining a lengthy Harry Potter, Enders Game, or Great Gatsby discussion, that would certainly not go amiss)
