time for some good ol' fashioned personal growth

Finished reading Dharma Bums for the 4th time through today,Thorny borrowed it from Wayman,so I decided to read it again myself so I could discuss it with it being very fresh in the mind.I dropped well over 100 bucks on books today, all things I have been meaning to read for a while and have not, aside from Big Sur (another Kerouac) which Paladino borrowed from me,did not read, and lost. My reading list will be completed in the following order
Leaves of grass: Walt Whitman
The complete works of William Blake
Brave New World: Aldous Huxley
For whom the bell tolls:Ernest Hemmingway (I know,it's a fucking crying shame that I have not read this book yet)
Post Office: Charles Bukowski
Book of Sketches: Jack kerouac
My current plan is to possibly get a part time job,but as long as my dad is helping, fuck it until next school year. I will not put any strong effort into doing this for several reasons....A:I want to take as much time as possible to work on my craft (writing) B:Time to reflect and grow, read a shit load of books, smoke pot,and generally just do whatever the fuck I want to do with my time.I may have to suffer through being broke occasionally, but that sort of thing does not bother me,might help me quit smoking cigs and read more voraciously. C:focus on my studies. and D:play some god damned music!
All of these things I belive will be far more beneficial to me than working some shitty 9 dollar an hour job that I really do not want to begin with. Also,I know this sounds strange, but I'm going to make a habit of trying to wear a coat and tie every day (at least until it's too damn hot, then it's back to cardigans). I also intend on setting a strict daily diet and exercise plan for myself, and spring is coming, which means I will be back on my bicycle again soon, woooo hoooo!!
