1. Hello, everybody.
2. Last weekend I was a pallbearer. In Utah. Michelle's grandpa died, and we flew out to SLC to send him off. Got to meet a lot of Michelle's family. Her dad took me to Cabela's, where I started to develop an interest in rifles. I'm getting a .22 next month. It's going to be a range-only weapon. With any luck, I will be prepared for the zombie apocalypse.
3. Spent some time with a Korg Oasys 88 last night. It's a beautiful, amazing instrument. There's a rock organ in the Combination banks that is, for the lack of a better word, "correct" to my ears. The weighted action is bulky, yet unrestraining, allowing me to play heavy-handedly with an accuracy that is impossible to achieve on the ES6. For some reason I was unable to get it out of Combi mode, so I couldn't check out the VA or the Physical Modeling sections. That's probably a good thing. I've got to save for a new computer (the iMac really doesn't like more than 3 instances of Reaktor at a time).
4. Put the SD6 show into iCal just now. Feb 26 seems like a long ways off.
