Bleh, I couldn't get the flame kanji for Honnou to pop up for track 12! I might have the wrong reading for the kanji, if so, please leave me a comment and I'll correct it. 今度 何もしなかったよ。I already had this thing uploaded from a post on Jpop Music Forums from a while ago, so I figured I'd share it again. The scans aren't as good as the ones for the Goichi album, because back when I uploaded it I didn't really know what I was doing with my scanner lol. Also, the files might be in WMA format. If that's a problem, I'll re-up it in MP3 format on request.

Little Bit of Info on Dr.K:
This is all off the top of my head lol. Kreva is a former(?) member of Kick the Can Crew. He's friends with Cuezero, with whom he created the duo By Phar the Dopest. He regularly collaborates with Cuezero, Sonomi, and Dabo (among others). His sophisticated, genre-crossing style of hip-hop makes him one of the more popular MCs in Japan. I heard he's won multiple freestylin contests, as well. Other than that, I saw him on a Pocky commercial one time. "One for the pocky, two for the show!" lol. His latest single (as of 05/08/07) is Aggressive.

Album Info:
Kreva released Neiro, Funky Glamorous, and Hitori ja nai no yo. He might have released You are the Number One too, but I don't think there's a video for it. lol I don't really know. Also, the only video I saw for Neiro was a remix.

My Thoughts:
There's some great laid-back songs on this album. Songs like Neiro, Hitorijanainoyo, and Stand By Me are why I really love listening to Kreva. He's really great at making slow love songs but still keeping the hip-hop vibe. He's got just enough of a singing voice to pull off songs like Neiro. Speaking of Neiro, I saw a clip of him in concert where he was doing Neiro with an orchestra-style band and the lead-singer from Mr.Children was singing back up for Kreva, lol it was awesome. I wanted to be like "Mr.Children can't rap!" My friend told me the bass player from Tokyo Jihen was also in the band. Here's another random story. I was playing Neiro at the radio at work (it's a cheap little CD player/alarm clock thing) and the beat vibrated the radio so bad the whole thing shut off. Great song.

Anyways, I just want to give a shout out to my new friends on here: Sonny B, Kingt731, and xxxmissymw88xxx. Thanks guys. Sonny B is an encyclopedia of J-Urban info from what I've seen, so hit him up if you've got some questions lol. Apparently I missed a pretty tight concert in Cali. I read something about the Hollywood Bowl 2007 had alot of Korean artists up there, including Fly to the Sky, Epik High, and BoA. I would have loved to see the latter two in concert. Speaking of Epik High, I bought their newest album, Remapping the Human Soul, and was surprised to see a little girl named Hinouchi Emi in one of the songs! Go figure! Expect to see the album up here in a week or so. Oh yeah, check out the new userpic. It's babaru! You can definitely tell he's got some korean in him with that pic. And lastly, thanks for checking my stuff out!
