I will remember before I forget
So, I'm back. Changed the layout too. Well, my Firefly obsession didn't last long... must have been because it's not on tv, so I don't have the motivation to actually watch it.
Bought Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind yesterday and watched it last night. Wasn't bad ^_^ I'm a big Miyazaki fan, so I've taken to collecting all the movies. Going to rebuy Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Spirited Away so I can have them on DVD. Did find out that the local FYE has copies of Porco Rosso, My Neighbour Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, and The Cat Returns (just by Stuido Ghibli, Miyazaki didn't direct it) on DVD, so that'll increase my collection. I also got one of those FYE Backstage Pass preferred customer things, so that'll give me an extra 10% off. So that covers, what? Tax? So a $30 movie will become $27? Big deal... well, it'll save a little bit.
Start college this fall, so that'll rock. Maybe I'll be on TV when they pan the crowd ^_~
On a side note, I started working on my TF fanfic again, I think I wrote maybe... 2 pages last night? But it was good stuff. Got to introduce Machiavellian, Masquerade, Muffle, Mace, Malice, and Minstrel. The reason for the repetition of "M" is because the rolled out of the same factory on the same day (Names are randomized, but everyday a new letter is chosen and the names are picked for the hundred or so bodies that roll off the line.)
Oh, and looks like the Mummy is going to be on a few minutes, so I'll watch that until something better comes on...
And one other thing, I'm routing for Germany in the World Cup for football, so everyone else can kiss my butt.
