BEST BUY
So here's my story today. This evening, I was finally able to convince my parents to let me buy a laptop. I knew exactly which one I wanted. Best Buy just so happened to have it on sale this week. So Ben takes me to Best Buy after we deal with the whole how am I paying for this today thing. We talk to a guy there and he's like "omgwtf we don't have any but Fairfield has like 7! brb." He then goes and comes back a minute later and then says "Dublin has like 4, they're closer. here mapquest go."
So we go down to the Dublin Best Buy expecting to get my lappy. Well it just so happens the 4 the guy saw in the inventory database were sold before we got there. Apparently their inventory updates slow. Also, apparently the kettlehead at the Walnut Creek Best Buy was supposed to call the Dublin store and make sure they actually have it and have them set it aside for us. The guy at Dublin printed me a Raincheck and said they'll call me when they get a few more this weekend.
Instead of running around and getting a lappy in the end, I got a piece of paper that says I might get what I want and they should call when they might get it Friday/Saturday.
