I'm not going to say that atheist propaganda is worse than theist propaganda such as christianity. I am going to say that they are both worthy of spite or at least shame. I have atheism as a category of interest on my stumbleupon add-on in firefox and so I come across a lot of atheist blogs, articles, and websites. Christians can be dicks when they say that gays and muslims, etc are going to hell, etc. However atheists are just as big of dicks by saying that christians are stupid. Considering yourself as possessing or being representative of an idea that other's should share is basic vanity.

Humans hold onto religion because the uncertainty of existence can be terrifying. Propagating an idea that brings about calm in it's belief can be a coping mechanism. There's nothing wrong with that. Harm comes when someone believes that one idea is right while another is wrong. When a christian evangelizes, then he/she has taken a harmless set of beliefs and turned it into something offensive. Similarly, an atheist takes a harmless perception of the universe and turns it against people. Ultimately, it strikes me as ironic and so very funny. I shutter at the thought of being called an atheist. I think if asked the appropriate questions, I might end up sounding like one, however.

Validation and classification play intricate roles in human perception. You must validate your beliefs by recruiting other believers. You must not be without classification. Ambiguity is nonsense, is no sense, is senseless. Senselessness does not compute. Everything in its right place.
