Work, discing, baseball...vodka!
So yesterday was way packed. I think I was home for maybe 30 minutes the entire day!
Woke up, got ready for work when my phone rings...it's Nate and Mike...who both just got off of working 3rd shift and wanted to know if I had any beer...sure I do! I suppose that after working, I want a beer too...it's just usually not at 8am :)
Then it was off to work, which wasn't so bad...got to play AQ for hours on end and even got artchick94 hooked on it (to the point that she paid for it a few hours after starting!).
After work, I came home, changed into shorts and called up Nate to go discing in Aurora...fun! He throws really weird and gets very impatient at the discs, heaving them every which way...but I do believe that he had a good time. Lost one of my putters, the Aviar..the one I usually use...guess this gives me an excuse to go get a new one, eh? Maybe a Moosejaw custom Aviar (tee hee hee)
Back home, change back into jeans and it was off to Old Chicago and the Riverhawks game with lindsaycb. That was way cool....aside from having to rush though our beers at OC that is. I still have 5 more to do before I hit the 110 mark and finish the entire tour. The baseball game was a lot more fun than I was expecting. The home team (woo) won 3-0 after a freakin ton of errors by the visitors...definately have to make it back up there for more games..especially since they're only $5! Cheap! Doesn't hurt that the Riverhawks are a decent team either...they did win the Frontier League title last season.
So back to DeK after the game..change into decent clothes that aren't all covered in goo from being in the sun all day and headed out to...yep...Fatty's! Met up with Lynda and Kate (who I rarely see even though she's uber-cool) and started drinkin' raspberry vodka & sprites...yum. Eventually, Adam shows up and gets his standard pitcher. A while later more people show up...Mark and Jon-Fucking-Huber...then Nichole and one of her friends (didn't catch her name). We had quite the crew going on there for a bit....until the bar closed and they kicked us out...why they gotta be like that? On the plus side...I didn't smoke any ciggys while we were there...that's a first!
Oh....lissiegurl! Saw Joe there last night too...hadn't seen him in quite some time...aparantly he was out bar hopping or some such thing...idunno...I was on my 3rd(4th) double by that point :)
Today....heading to O-town to go discing with Than and Todd and maybe Courtney (who I haven't seen in ages) and to take pics of my Than's Mustang that he wants to sell...then probably stopping by La Vigna to see Diana.
I've got a few sets of pics from the past few days...I'll put them up tomorrow in one big-ass pic post :)
