Time to find a life boat
I'll be honest, the broadcast market in DFW isn't exactly clamoring for new hires and so when I decided to start looking for something new (my current job is fine, but there have been massive lay-offs), my view was bleak. After searching for the same position under different headings I finally found something at Funimation doing a job not unlike my own. I don't think I've ever wanted a job more (or felt like I was a better fit for a job) because I've never been so meticulous with a cover letter or resume before. If this does work out I'll be thrilled. I've had two different people tell me that every time they've been laid off they've found an even better job. Maybe this one is mine, I hope so.
