If I was who I am today back then, would I be who I am today? The mind boggles.
I remember when I was a bored kid in church I always wondered what would happen if I smacked the person sitting in front of me on the back of the head, or if we were standing up if I grabbed an attractive woman's butt. Would there be enough commotion for the pastor to put the sermon on hold? How exactly would my mom react? How long would it be before I was dragged out of the sanctuary? These are questions I will never know the answers to. Other sensations I've always wondered about, but will most likely never know:
-hitting a person with my automobile and watching them fly up and over my windshield (though in my truck they're more likely to be run over).
-punching a baby
-yelling "fire" in a theater or airplane (or any kind of reactionary command, i.e. "he's got a gun!"
-throwing a tantrum at work; picking up monitors and throwing them down, throwing desktops out the window, breaking everything in my sight.
-using a very public place as a toilet (like someone's soup bowl in a restaurant)
-licking Cate Blanchett's teeth
Can't Stop the Serenity was Sunday and while it was fun, it wasn't as good as last year's. Here's hoping for a better organized effort next year. Also, I am officially not going to shop at Lone Star Comics anymore. After this week I am canceling my subscription service and starting a new one at Zeus Comics in Dallas. I'll never go to Lone Star again.
Excelsior.
