happy fourth
im going to write a few things that most people wont understand
but i dont feel like spending the time to explain them.
im on duty today so i cant leave base or anything so my fourth is sanctioned.
a while ago, on break, i drove to the field where everyone was viewing the fireworks from.
the base's entire population was strewn about on the field on blankets and chairs.
everyone was so happy to be where they were with whoever they were there with.
and i was alone and i left as soon as the fireworks started.
all i can think about is all the fun things everyone else is doing.
i miss my family, i miss my friends, and i miss my home.
