update
i dont think i have updated this in a while. i've been meaning to but i've been so busy lately. i'm really starting to miss some of my friends i haven't seen in a while and i value them more when i see them. this past week i worked every day (including saturday and sunday), so it was a pretty busy weekend, but it was a good time.
today is my dads birthday. i bought him the jimi hendrix blues edition cd, the best of eric clapton and intend on picking up a gift certificate to either best buy or home depot for him later tonight when i get out of work, and then i'm hoping to take wednesday off from work and go out to lunch with him and go see a movie. it's funny when i think of presents for my dad. i usually do a pretty good job at getting something he wants/needs. one time when i was younger he bought me a cd by live the band and i was about 11 or so and i called it shitty. he returned it got me another one. i didnt even listen to the band live, i look back at it now and i laugh.
i picked up some new cds last night, until the end, a perfect murder, skycamefalling, and the best of abba gold edition. yes, i love abba.
so these past couple weeks burdens will be broken has undergone some changes. we've been working on some songs, gutting some songs to make them sound better and we recently made the decision to have dylan (my old drummer from forever carved) to step in on drums permanently. he played with us on saturday in kittery. we'll be working with him for a couple weeks getting all the songs down and writing a couple new ones with him before we go to record a demo in possibly april. check our site in a couple days for a big update including some new show dates.
