more crap

yes i am super lame because my journal hasn't been updated for 3 weeks!

well school kinda blew up (figuratively, people), and i needed to put in some work.  i finally have a couple of minutes to do my own thing.

i'm still really busy with friends, school, and extra curricular stuff.

Friends:

i am making friends!!  people in my trans group are really cool, but i think i pissed of one of them when i had the guys (and gals) over last friday.  his gf was sitting on my makeshift seat (a tupperware storage bin) and had dented it.  she got up, and i saw it and didn't realize who had been sitting on it.  i was like, "WHO was sitting on this?"  he was like, "my gf."  my witty return: "well, she needs to lose 30 lbs." of course, i didn't realize she was sitting on the other side of the room.  he chased me into my bedroom and tried to pin me on the bed, but i'm not as wimpy as i used to be.  he really couldn't dominate.  it made him madder.  conclusion: i shouldn't drink and try to be witty....i just end up being an asshole.  but, don't try and kick my ass if you're under 130 lbs cuz i'll whup ya.

i had a fun night friday (after the trannies left) hanging out with my friend D.  more alcohol was consumed and many bars were visited.  we all ended up at my house again where i made turkey sandwiches for the irish (they were all irish, and i don't know what the fuck they're saying - OK i catch about half).  he got a booty call at 4AM (i was sober by then), so i drove him over to the woman's house and gave him some condoms.  on the way there i came out to him as trans.  we're becoming friends, so it seemed like time.  it was a little nerve-wracking, and i didn't go into any specifics.  the ride was short, so we didn't talk too much.  later on that morning, i got a text from him saying that he felt privileged to be told something very personal about me and that he thought i was a good guy.  i'm glad that worked out.  we're going on a group hike this weekend at some volcanoes west of here.  that should be awesome.

School:
school is still hard, but i doing OK.  thank goodness statics is there to boost my ego.  i am doing VERY WELL in that course.  let's hope dynamics goes as well next semester.  calc is hard as hell.  my teacher is an ass, but the TA is good.  he is the only redeeming feature of the course.  the test this monday will be a huge factor in my grade.  i will be hitting the books this weekend, big time.  research and grad classes are fine.  i'm gaining more and more respect for my adviser as time goes one.  he is almost as good as Dr. C from USF (who i miss).  my biological wastewater teacher is not very good, but i'll live.

Extra-Curricular:
i am the project lead for an engineers without borders project that focuses on water/wastewater development for a community in bolivia.  if we can get the project approved, i will probably go on a scouting trip this winter or early spring.  i still am riding the bike like crazy and love it.  hiking is pretty awesome, too.  my workout has been consistent over the past few months - three times per week, and my body is responding really well.  i don't look 12 anymore....look out ladies (and gents).
