So as you know by now I am not home, being how it is now the holiday season what am I to do? Thanksgiving is only celebrated in the US and so we had class on Thanksgiving day. I went out for a pizza for dinner, what a good Thanksgiving dinner that was.
Friday: I had class in the morning, that's really about it for Friday that I can remember. I know I went to Tesco and bought the turkey patties and some groceries. I probably also looked for a new sweater at some point.
Saturday: Found a sweater at the West End Mall, at Esprit. It is really soft and was a decent price. Around 6 Joey, Kasia, Kim, Brandon, and Katarina came over for a not quite so traditional Thanksgiving meal. Brandon and I explained the finer points of the holiday and we all ate. Brandon made mashed potatoes and gravy, Kim and Joey brought frozen cherry strudels and ice cream, Kasia brought herself, Hubert made us a chocolate cake, Katarina brought herself, and I made turkey, bought bread and rolls along with mandarin oranges, lychee, and corn. Sure the turkey was preformed frozen patties, but it was still pretty good and I bought enough so that we were all really full. This wound up being one of the most fun Thanksgivings I've had despite the lack of family. My new family here is quite interesting though and we ended the evening by putting ice down Brandon's shirt, followed by watching Family Guy and Futurama.
Sunday: I've not done much today, just finishing up a couple of projects and papers. Tonight is planned movie night, not quite sure what we'll watch though. We'll figure it out, I'm not too worried.
That's all I've got for now. Sorry its short, just not much has been going on lately due to end of semester approaching.
