Why do I never update this? I say I will, and then I don't. I fail like that...oops.
Classes are starting for me in a week. Ah...I don't like school... I'm actually sort of looking forward to it this year though. Well, more than I ever have before. I'm finally going to be able to really work on my major, so that's exciting. I was getting tired of taking so many basic classes in subjects I never liked. I've got Japanese, Intro to Cultural Anthropology, Intro to Women's Studies, Intro to International Studies, and Physics (okay, so this is required, but still, it's the only required class I'm taking, as opposed to last semester, where every class except one that I took was required.)
I've got 26 days until my convention I always go to. I'm so excited! I got the cloth cut for my China costume, so all I have to do is get it sewn together, which shouldn't be too hard. And I have to find a panda. And I have to work on a water pipe for my friend's Russia costume. She'll be flying in for the convention, so it'll be easier of the water pipe is here waiting for her. :3 That's the other awesome thing. She just moved across the United States from me, but she's coming back for our convention, so I'll get to see her soon! Only 25 days until that happens. ^_^ I'm just as excited for that as for the convention...maybe more so.
This week, my family is going to see the King Tut exhibit. It's going to be incredible. This particular tour of the exhibit has items that have never toured America before. I've loved Ancient Egypt since I was, gosh...about three, now that I think about it. I went to an exhibit like this for a different pharaoh when I was six, and adored it. I'm really looking forward to this one. We've been planning to see it for months. Even my youngest siblings are excited. Henry, 5, and Josie, 1, almost 2, have been talking about it. Yes, the one year old has been talking about it. Every time she sees the golden death mask, she shouts out "King Tut!!" And sometimes when she doesn't see it. Actually, now that I think about it, every time one of us mentions Egypt or anything like that, she says it. My sister's such a dork...even at one, she's a dork.
Aside from that, all I'm doing is trying to keep up with my RPs. I love them all. ^_^
