Been surfing around for some Kate stuff... last night was Oscar night! :D
Ok... on http://www.oscar.com I see this Oscar trivia thingie, where Kate is mentioned:
"Judi Dench and Kate Winslet are both nominated this year for playing Iris Murdoch at different ages in IRIS. This is the second time that two actresses have been nominated for playing the same character in the same film. In 1997, Winslet and Gloria Stuart received acting nominations for playing the same character, Rose DeWitt Bukater, in TITANIC."

Kate went in red! At the Kate Winslet forum of kate-winslet.org I said that I hoped she would wear a red dress... and she did!!! She looked beautiful. I haven't seen it on TV yet, but I read that Jennifer Connely won the Best Supporting Actress oscar... not Kate. Maybe next time Kate... we all know you deserved one long before.
About the other dresses... although very daring, I really liked the fabric and colours of Halle Berry's dress... and I liked the skirt of Gwyneth Paltrow's dress... but I just don't like that sheer top... it just doesn't go with her, in my opinion. And another stunning dress was of Nicole Kidman!
