I made my first sales and shipments the past few days. Now I'm trying to get the word out a little more. Applying to jewellery portals etc. A banner on my dollz site also helps a little I guess, with getting it out there.

do you know I had to talk to two of my people because they were busy scoping out MySpace at work! Seems to the be the new online mingling spot. Whatever...I'll play the school marm, and smack thier hands for something everyone i know around me is doing. Makes me a big ol' hypocrite for sitting here doing LJ at work, eh?

Oh shit...that would totally make me a Hypocrite to Asa too. I was just getting on him for scoping out myspace. Did you know his school banned it, and sent out notices to parents about it? It's funny. Now it's the big "evil" forbidden MySpace.

I guess there was a dirty ol man communication with one of the middle school girls, and the parents found out and issued an all points bulletin to the school and parents. The school just wanted to cover the bases (and avoid lawsuit), so they banned the site, and issued a notice to parents. Typical shit. I live in soccer mom/anything for the kids ville. You know the atmosphere. I mean it's a good thing I guess, but some people just go nuts and lose their minds. But again I'm someone who communicates on the internet all the time. It's a *scary* place for those people who don't know. They just hear things and freak out. I know what my kids are doing. I'm smarter than the average bear.

I know... people get paranoid. I guess it is different for children than it is for us. And it's VERY different for parents without or very little internet experience.
