I am loving the Happy Holidays signage for LJ! =)
Shortly after the monster update on Thursday evening I got invited to go to Pier by Tom so I went. I was out with Tom (obv!), Steve, Jam, Liam, Daf and Simon. I was the only girl!! But it was cool, I ended up having a really good night! ;);) We had to go into the Brasserie for nearly 2 hours cos Pier was full up and we were 180-odd people behind in the "queue" but it was warm and still £party in there and there was music playing so yayness!! All the lads were so drunk, haha! I ended up being that way too though so all was fine and dandy!! =D Jam had forgotten some stuff til I reminded him on MSN on Friday hehe!
Friday was hellish!! After less than four hours sleep I had to get up at 7am in order to have a shower and get ready for work and wake up! Corrine came in with Kira again and I got to play with her even though I was supposed to be working, ah well! I carried on doing a bit of work and so Hanna played with her a bit but then Kira heard my voice and her face lit up or so Hanna said! So I just had to play with her some more then, of course!! Then I really had to go do some more work and Corrine said she became cranky after I'd really gone. Awwwww, bless her cotton socks!! I can't wait til we go to Birmingham for the day!! Anyways, then I had my seminar which was soooo boring yet funny too cos I made everyone laugh - get me and my hilarity-ness! - and then went back to work after to help tidy and close up! Doing it again this Friday but Bewise is starting to open late from Thursday onwards (only on selected days thank God!) and so am working 9-2 then seminar 3-5 then working 5.30-8!!! Gah! I am going to be dead!
Yesterday at work wasn't so bad, Gareth was very mean to me and so I ignored him until he gave in and apologised and told me not to not talk to him because he didn't like it! I rock! Then I decided to go out last night too. We did a mini pub crawl although we didn't drink in every pub we went to! It started in Spoons, then I went home to eat, shower and get ready and then met the others (Gareth, Hanna, Tom, Emma and Phil) in The Mill and then we went onto Rummers, Llew Du, Harleys, Downies Vaults and the Academy before ending up in Yoko's! It wasn't so great in there! Tom's ex girlfriend was in there and he, after talking to her/getting yelled at, he was quite wound up so I put my arm around his neck to comfort him and she came storming over and threw my arm away from him and told me to not touch him!! =O She's a bitch and a half!! After a bit of a slagging match she stormed off and I got congratulated by Emma and Gareth for shit stirring cos they really don't like her and later on when Hanna returned she hugged me and told me she loved me cos I'd pissed this girl off. Go me?! Lol!
After Yoko's Emma, Gareth and I went to meet Phil who'd left earlier to have a coupla joints on the jetty! It was freezing cold and after a bit of a singsong (he had his guitar with him!) we went back to Phil's and watched Ice Age. Well it was on, we were talking and exchanging songs via bluetooth for most of it before we decided we were all tired and went our separate ways! It ended up being a good, funny night!
Today at work was really good for some reason. My ladies footwear looks amazing! I really like doing footwear now, I can have my break whenever I want it cos I'm the only person on footwear and I get to make all the decisions and I can boss the weekday footwear people around telling them where I want things to go cos I rock at it and they don't! Go me!!! =D Then after work we (me, Tom and Hanna) went to Spoons and met up with Emma, Phil and Gareth and had a right laugh about last night! I haven't laughed like that in a while now it was nice! Then Edd came over and sat with us and we got to talking about Kevin the Kidney and somehow managed to get talking about FUKC - the Fucked Up Kidney's Club....don't ask! All in all the best apres work drinks I've ever been to - so far!
My parents keep telling me that they've got more money to spend on me for Christmas (cos my brothers want shitloads and get it I've got to have the same amount of money spent on me!) and I really don't know what I want! Any suggestions on a postcard please!! (Or an LJ comment, either way is cool!)
