I've not updated in a while so I apologise now from the outset if it turns into a monster update. I can't really remember doing too much in the last coupla weeks so here goes anyway!
I've been to the cinema again with Debs and Cat since I last updated. We went to see Cinderella Man and verily it was good even though it was about boxing and I hate boxing, do not get me started. I almost got into a huge arguement/debate with my Nan today over it! Renee Zellwegger and Russell Crowe were good in I thought and it was such a tense and pressurised ending! Cat, Debs and myself were sat there with our fingers, toes, legs and arms crossed in anticipation knowing full well that our doing that wasn't going to affect the ending of the film one iota but we did it anyway! Twas a good evening, we giggled our way through and were laughing a lot, about what I can't remember right now but I'm sure one of the other two might remember! I just recall convulsing and giggling! Oh yes, that's it! My Cornetto Whippy ice cream came out of the cone when I tried to pull the flake out with my teeth. Heheheee, that was funny!
Then, after the cinema, Debs came round and I made us three a hot chocolate. It had lots and lots of marshmallows in and squirty cream on the top! Lots of calories but bursting with chocolatey niceness! Mmmmm! I then decided to act my age (yeah, right!) and squirted some cream down Debs' top, teehee!! She loved it really! =)
Thursday night I went out to Inn on the Pier and then Pier Pressure (that place is only anywhere near OK once a year in my opinion!!) for £ party. I went with Hanna, Gareth (GaGa for short!!), Emma, Martin and Adam (whose nickname, randomly, is Philip!) and we met up with Corinne and her mates inside! Twas a drunken fun filled night! Hanna stayed over at mine cos she lives outside of Aber and if she was going to drink, had no other way of getting home! I drank way too much, I swear it was the Apple Sourz! Lol!
I've been home this weekend for Andyroo's 21st birthday which was yesterday! Vikki also came home for it and we (Andrew, Steph, Shell, Laura, Vikki and me) went to Maidstone for a mini pub crawl and clubbing night! We went to a bar called Zebra (it used to be Yates' and is nice inside!) and then to Chicago Rock and then to the ever faithful Spoons and then to Frankie and Benny's for a cocktail (mmm!) and then to Jak's baby! The music was good, the company was awesome and good time was had! It's been great seeing my Monkey Girl again! =D Can't wait til she comes to Aber in a coupla weeks time! I've also booked tickets for us to go and see Staind in concert next March! Yay! Can't wait til that either!! This evening I've been to the Harps (my beloved Harps!) with Andrew, Steph and Sarah. Sarah seems to be doing really well and upbeat about life in general. She's started uni again and needs a dictaphone cos she still can't use her right hand at all what with her fingers being bandaged together but that's the only physical thing left to heal now. Her life seems to be getting back to normal. She went to London on Saturday with one of her uni mates and is going to see the Backstreet Boys in concert on Thursday with her sister and is looking forward to it and is also, understandably, a little worried but she'll be fine. There'll be a large crowd of people and she won't be alone! But yay, good to see lots of people this weekend!
Am back to Aber tomorrow. It'll be good to get back as have lots to do. Need to think about starting the research for my essay which is due in in a fortnight. The problem with it is that it's a set essay question so there's like another 50 or so people doing the same question as me and they'll also be needing the books and resources in the library so gah! Need to get in there quick me thinks! =S
Lectures are going good, I'm really enjoying Sport and Leisure (I love Coopey!!) and can see me enjoying the rest of it and Michael Roberts (aka Debs' dad!) is the same old Michael Roberts with his going off on a tangent and losing track of what he's gonna talk about. He's been promising to show us some clips from a video since the start of lectures and two weeks on we've still not seen it cos he just carries on talking! Bless him!
I've taught my Dad how to use the internet/email/computer in general this weekend and he's been well impressed with himself and his knowledge of sending and receiving emails, searching on Google and using MSN. He was so smug with himself when his sister replied to an email he sent her!! I miss my Daddio when I'm at uni, we get on so well. I'm not gonna be going back home now until Christmas which I'm not returning for until the 23rd December! That's aaaaaaaaaages away, well, about 10 weeks but who's counting!?
Right, have now successfully uploaded some MP3s onto my mobile phone using my Dad's data cable and am going to go to bed as it is now past midnight and I'm getting up early to catch the train back to Aberystwyth! Hope everyone's OK and hunky dory!
