Scum of the earth.
I write this post feeling upset and angry. I heard this afternoon that my oldest friend, Sarah (you may have read her name here once or twice!), got mugged last night on her way home from Charlotte's (a mere 10-15 minute walk away along main roads). She isn't the type of person to put up a fight or cause trouble on purpose so I believe she handed over her purse without any fuss. Yet they continued to punch her face in and break her nose as well as break her arm. Some tosser broke my friend's arm. And there's nothing I can do about it. For one, there really isn't anything legal I could do to him and secondly I'm 300 miles away which sucks monkey balls. I guess she's lucky in a way cos there was another, unrelated, mugging in the same night and he's still in hospital with "serious head injuries" so the BBC website says. A 25 year old man has been arrested in connection to her beating and I hope it's the right person and I hope he gets what he deserves, wanker!
Apart from that total shit news I've been having a pretty funky assed week! Have spent a lot of time with Debs, Dave and Dan which is just awesome in itself! We've managed to watch the whole of series one of Scrubs and are now about 9 episodes into series two which Dave graciously bought today! We've also been to Inn on the Pier a fair few times for cocktails (with sparklers in!!!!) and drinks of the such like! Mmmmmm, nice! Have seen lots of Nai and Cat (basically cos I'm living with them but that's neither here nor there!).
Met up with Addy and had lunch on Friday which was cool and Varsity does the nicest lasagne! MmmHmmm! So basically lots of money hath been spent but good times had!
I've been working this weekend and did a couple of days during the week which was OK, extra money and all that as well as getting to know my fellow Bewise colleagues a bit better too! Actually went out with them last night for Nesta's leaving do (her last shift was today, quite sad about it, she seems lovely!) and ended up in Yoko's which I thought would be total pants but it was Cheese Fest so I did some bopping and had a good time! They're a really cool bunch and know how to have a proper knees up, squeee!
Clodagh's coming up on Friday, wooooooooooot!
Ooooh, need to pay off the rest of my holiday deposit tomorrow, well mine and Vikki's! She sent me a cheque cos she lost the reference number, silly girl!! But yay, currently it stands at 39 weeks and 4 days to the holiday! Exciting stuff! The time is going down! I'm also going home in less than four weeks time! It'll be Andyroo's 21st. The baby of the group getting to 21. Scary.
It's Dan's, Ricky's and Nai's Matt's birthdays this week and that's just this week. The following week it's Debs' 21st! Haha! So old! =P Only joking hunny! *mwah*
Anyways, I'm tired and want to have a reasonable lie in but still get up at a decent time! Hah! Am meeting up with Debs (again, yay!) and possibly Ricky. I wanna buy Sarah some presents and send her a parcel as well as find something to give Dan for his birthday! *puts thinking cap on*
