yay! i just bought myself a ticket to see dar williams at the steppenwolf. i almost didn't get it because it is ridiculously expensive, and i was being discouraged by people who ordinarily go to concerts. but she's great, and i can't wait.
i didn't go see george clinton when he was in cleveland because b talked be out of it. and i totally regret it. so i decided if it's worth it to me, screw what anyone else thinks.
just a dumb concert, and a lot of money, but i'm v happy. especially even to go alone. i'm getting a better seat that way.
