*lol* Thanks! --I really don't know where it came from, though. I wasn't feeling all creeper or anything today! ^_^;; *g*

It happens. It's not like I ever feel super emo or anything and have you seen some of the stuff I write? I depress *myself.*

Well, yeah, but that's just it -- usually when I write this stuff, I either start or end in a 'bad' mood, or all depressive. (The fic I write tends to have an impact on my mood, or vice-versa. That's why I usually try to stick to writing happier fics.) This time, I was fairly chipper the whole way through. It was weird (at least for me).

a bisexual Lex taking, ahem, full advantage, and then using Clark in, uh, many ways (ok, I actually meant 'towards his own ends for world-changing-plans that benefit only him' for that one, I swear)

That you felt the need to clarify that Lex was bisexual makes me not believe you *eyes suspiciously*

And, yeah I don't think there's a way you could make it *not bad* unless the orb stopped working or Clark for some reason elects, in a situation where he is capable of making a rational decision, to keep the mind control. But benevolent Lex would still be *better*.

*laughs* Well, my brain went dark-evil first, and I said "no" like I usually do, so that Lex would instead be leaning more towards "I have better uses for you than simple needs-of-the-flesh" (but that could do weird things to Clark's thoughts given the mindcontrol). ...Er, that may actually be worse. Damn.

True enough. I may have to do a benevolent Lex tomorrow, then, all sad and sorrowful that the use of the Orb was a necessary act on his part. ^_^;;;;;; (But yeah, probably won't ever put it as far as making it "not bad", I am only slightly sorry to say.)

You shouldn't be sorry at all, or if you are it should be because the sequel isn't going to be creepy enough. This fic was creepy as all get out, if the follow-up went to a place of sunshine and rainbows it would undermine it.

Ooo you know what would be creepy? If Lex was "benevolent" and never actually told Clark *told* Clark to do anything, but Clark, whose brain has had the shit Stockholmed out of it, starts doing evil things anyways because he knows that's what Lex wants. Lex is pulling all all sorts of mind games and emotional manipulation over someone who he has total control over anyway just because he f***ing can.

...sometimes my brain scares me.

:)

That's ok, sometimes my brain scares me, too :)

Oh, it'll probably be at least a little creepy. Lex isn't gonna be 'kind' in the normal way.

*smiles* That's pretty close to what I was thinking, but... Clark's not gonna do "evil evil" things for a 'benevolent' Lex. (Not this one, anyway.) The things Lex does, he does because he believes them necessary for the survival of humanity. (That's probably your creepy factor, right there ;)

Creepy and totally wonderful! I REALLY liked the underlying darkness in this. Would you consider continuing it? I think it would make a fascinating series.

Thanks :) ...Yup, there's gonna be at least a sequel from Lex's POV coming within the next day or so.
