Want to finish, but have to leave for work - Aaaaarrrrrggggh! I am completely loving it though, and laughing out loud so much. Why haven't you cross-posted everywhere, yet?
*lol* Sorry, my sleep schedule is shot, I posted as soon as I had it done (actually, the timestamp's a little off). Glad you're enjoying it so far :) *whew!*
...Mmm, I haven't cross-posted yet because it's a complete entry for the Clexmas group bingo challenge, and they ask for a one day waiting period before being pimped elsewhere. (If I'd done a one-prompt-per-story then self-pimpage is apparently ok for individual parts as they are completed, but the compilation of those parts would fall under the same one-day request.) I was also fixing the author's notes at the bottom. I look forward to cross-posting, though! :)
Why haven't you cross-posted everywhere, yet? That was my doing. ;D It's a Clexmas Bingo! The *first* Clexmas Bingo posted! (Which I'm simply ecstatic over ^^) We do want to reward those folks watching Clexmas for their loyalty in following the community, so bingos get posted at Clexmas first, then everywhere else a day later. It's only a day, though. Soon enough for the rest of the world. :)
Heh, yeah I'd kind of forgotten it was for Clexmas by the time I was typing my comment. That's what I get for leaving it in a hurry before I rushed off to work.
Utterly delightful! I think you captured young Clark's thought process well and I had many a giggle at his frustration and cluelessness. And I really felt his panic when he realized what Lex must have deduced. Great stuff. Looking forward to Lex's POV!
...Mmm, I hope to get that one (Lex's POV) done and up by the end of the weekend, assuming no writer's block. My biggest worry is whether I can manage to keep them from sounding the same. *coughs* We'll see ^_^;;
LOL! Yeah, I did come a little close, but not quite there. ;D I absolutely adore your putting "floating" in there though instead of trapped. Though you got trapped in there too! What a fun multi-prompt story. I would have never thought of that scenario and I love it. What happens when Clark falls asleep...
I really loved Clark's rambling point of view and then as we the audience had figured out what had happened but Clark still hadn't and was asking questions and Lex was just *looking* at him and answering calmly while Clark was figuring it out.
So good that they finally have at least that much out in the open and that Lex knows but also knows now that Clark is horribly scared of it as well. He won't be pressing it anymore, but now they both know and that's the best thing for them. :)
Brilliant story! Glad you've returned to SV and decided to try Clexmas. Write more, please!
*hehe* Yeah, I always wondered why he didn't have nearly so many sleep-floating issues after they depicted the first one. (I mean, if he really couldn't control it...? Though I guess maybe he lucid dreams a bit more than most and could avoid floating dreams from then on; I vaguely remember one episode where he's sharing his dreams with some girl and he seems to have no trouble directing things. Ah well, *shrugs* -- it's my AU, I can pick the rules! *eg*)
I'm glad that the long discovery process came out ok and wasn't too boring, I wasn't sure if I dragged it out too much or not.
...Ah, I'm not sure "returned to SV" is the right description for me -- do you know someone else with this handle? *curious, and now a little worried that I might've 'stolen' somebody else's name* I am really enjoying the bingo prompts though -- thanks for setting up the challenge! :)
And I should also add -- thank you for your rec lists! There's a lot of really good fanfic out there that I probably never would've read if not for you! (Hee, and I'm still working my way through some of the categories -- gotta pace myself, y'know :)

This was wonderful! I enjoyed the Old School feel of the piece, and Clark trying to figure things out while Lex patiently (mostly) waits. :)
And Clark getting an anxiety attack fits. Poor baby!

Yay! My ending, it was successful! *pumps fist in the air*
