(takes place as Nagi and Mari are interacting on her platform)
Something about that made him nervous, and she was subjected to a long, evaluating look. Omi shifted, putting himself half between Mari and the telekinetic, but his back was to Nagi. Then he seemed to realize what it was he did, and looked away. A longer step carried away from everyone, but he glanced back at the Scwarz leader. "We can certainly speak, Crawford-san." Omi's eyes narrowed slightly. Perhaps I'll be able to deduce what about you is putting my back up now.
Brad nodded, putting a hand on Nagi's shoulder. "I'll be back soon," he said quietly. "If you want, you can make your way back to the main platform, but I'll look for you here before going back myself." With a parting squeeze, he released him and gestured to Omi. "Let's go, then."
The Weiss leader pasted a polite smile on his lips and crossed the boundary from Mari's platform to the Maze proper, stopping with a double arms-length of space between himself and the other man. "If you would indicate a direction, Crawford-san? I have no desire to be transported elsewhere."
