Absinthe / Absinth
A little while ago Kornelis and I walked past a liquorstore and I saw these adorable tiny absinthe bottles. Now, I assume everyone here knows I don't actually drink... But it's the labels I loved! So I got two of those mini-bottles. Now I was thinking... I know that absinthe gets around some amidst the goth-scene, and I was wondering if any of the labels on those bottles could maybe be taken off the empty bottles and sent to little old me? I'd like to frame them, I love the artwork so much. (Just putting the bottles in water should get the labels off without damaging them) I've got the two mini-labels here in front of me of Absinthe Premium Trenet (Absolutely beautiful!) and a very gothic looking one by Tabu Absinth. If you can get your hands on bigger versions I might actually be able to frame, (I can't get these one soff the bottles and they're too small to frame) I would be eternally grateful. Again, I don't drink, and I don't see myself buying bottles of the stuff myself... Maybe part of that though is that i do have an authentic absinthe spoon (Not one of those flashy silver ones but an old steel one that actually got used by deadbeat artists way back when, haha) and I don't want to be tempted to use it. *chuckle*
Nah, kidding. ;) I don't do well with alcohol, it makes me fall asleep.
But seriously... If you have a pristine label for me, from either one of those brands or any brand, really... Let me know at josevltilb @ home.nl and I'll send you my home address. And naturally, I'd be eternally grateful.
