Events currently unfolding within the wizarding world have wrought a certain amount of curiousity into the affairs of various notable dark wizards and covens. Numerous reports have been issued regarding certain gatherings of such infamous dark wizards and The Ministry of Magic has deemed any information surrounding these gatherings to be of the utmost importance.
However, as a number of these gatherings appear to be taking place in areas where The Ministry of Magic holds little sway, we cannot be expected to send in one of our usual agents. To do so would be to publically place a valuable wizard in danger that could have been avoided via The Ministry of Magic utilizing different information gathering tools.
As you are no doubt aware, you are one of these tools. You are not officially employed by us, nor have you ever been since your initial employment as an auror. However, you have served as a useful tool in gathering infromation and meting out justice in areas beyond our reach. We merely call upon you to do this one last time.
If you refuse, we will be forced into utilizing one of our agents, who will surely find themselves in far more danger and peril than you would were you to partake in this assignment. This would not be your fault, nor would the blood of any possible fatalities be on your hands.
However, it is food for thought.

...Another atypical example of the Ministry of Magic and their tactics. Obviously as they took great pains to stress, I am but a tool to them, the endangerment of myself or those around me as a result of my involvement being of no concern to them. God forbid they lose one of their damned precious new Aurors versus an embittered Merc like myself.
And yet, who's to say that the person they send won't have a family? Won't have a lover with whom they will never share another delicate embrace, another warm summer night...
Can I really subject another to such?
And yet...I myself have a family currently. A beautiful baby boy that I want to see grow into a strong man. And a beautiful Fiance that I hope to spend the rest of my life sharing a bed with.
