gone for a bit
well, the time at home was really nice.
lots of hanging out with friends and family, relaxing, sleeping, etc.
but now, it's come to an end.
tomorrow morning, i head off for ithaca new york.
by way of chillicothe, oh; elkins, wv; and warren, pa.
i'm taking 4 days to do a long 1 day trip.
but, hey, i've got the time, i might as well see a part of the country which, as to this point, i have yet to visit.
and, what with my new tent and all, i'm well suited for the adventure.
i've also had a lot of packing and stuff to do over the past week plus.
i mean, yeah, i pretty much am taking everything from tallahassee to ithaca, but not all.
and i'm adding stuff from here.
so i had to open everything, go through it all, and add/subtract as needed.
but now i think i'm pretty good to go for the new place.
although i have to decide still if i'm taking a few things.
i have the night to sleep on it.
oh yeah, and i'm still without a roommate, but i have some promising leads.
i'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice to get that taken care of soon after arriving in town.
but for the next three days, i'm not going to worry about it!
i'm just gonna enjoy the road and the country and listen to either huck finn or one flew over the cuckoos nest (i burned both from the library's cool on-line services that promotes it!).
depending on how i feel.
maybe both?
but roadtrips need music.
music is important.
the audiobook just helps break it up some, is all.
anywho, i don't really have time to regale stories, but i've had a great time the past few weeks, and by this time next week, i'll hopefully be posting from the state of new york!
