not really a post

i will put up something involving lots of pictures and stories after i get back to tallahassee.
but for now, you must be satisfied by my saying that i am having a great time in urbana, things are going pretty well, i love spending time with robert, i'm seeing lots of other people i miss, graduation was good, etc., and it'll be weird to go back to work on wednesday (i don't really want to at all, i want more time off to relax).
i have lots of photos of many varied expeditions, and i will post them, no worries about that!

i also have finished crime and punishment and am plowing through cat's cradle.
crime and punishment was pretty good, im very glad i read it.
i certainly recommend it to anyone who has the time to wade through the long translated russian text. it is interesting to read christian existentialism, though.
on the whole, well written, well paced, good characters, etc. a solid novel.
i can see why it's a classic.

cat's cradle is good so far.
i can't believe how much more quickly the pages move for it than for crime and punishment.
larger type font, bigger margins, more chapter and paragraph breaks, all combine to work in the favor of a faster page turn.
the novel itself is also pretty good, i don't really care about the page stuff that much, it's just interesting.

ok, that's it.
more (much more, likely) to come soon.
