Finally
I got another email from the principal in Iwakuni. She asked if I had received an offer yet from the Department of Defense. She indicated that she had selected me and offered to get in touch with the Department of Defense to see why I haven't been called yet.
This is good news. It looks like I've been "marked." Now, the job isn't in-the-bag yet. A lot of things could still happen. For example, someone already employed as a teacher for the military could transfer into the position I've been offered. So, I am still not rejoicing. Once I get the call and my orders, then I will rejoice.
